Stumbling Around

So you don’t know this, but this is the second time I’ve typed this. Why? Because I don’t know what I’m doing.

I think I know. But I don’t really know. So I fumble my way through the path in hopes that I’d stumble upon a finished product I can be proud of.

I AM really excited to communicate with you all via this blog. I know I’ll get better at it and I’m looking forward to the journey.

Today my kids are at their respective programs. I’m on my second cup of coffee and enjoying a yogurt concoction that includes fish (omega-3s) and it’s actually good. I’m not going to post a picture because then you’d see that I’m eating out of the original big yogurt container and that’s usually frowned upon.

Do you know what you get when you whip whole milk and add sugar for about 10 minutes?

Well, let me tell you what you DON’T get. You DON’T get whipped cream to spread over the top of what was supposed to be an easy dessert. So my dear husband handed me a can of sweetened condensed milk and I added that in to see if it would stiffen up. Didn’t work either. I could’ve looked it up online, but I just didn’t have time at that point. So I stabbed a bunch of holes in the cake and decided to pour my milky mixture over the cake and make Dos Leches Cake. It’s like Tres Leches Cake, but different.

Not a total fail. My Life Group still likes me, so who cares???
